Bank Card. A Visa or MasterCard credit card. Visa and MasterCard are issued by a bank that's the reason they are called bank cards. (American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, etc., are issued directly from their respective operations, rather than through banks.)

Batch. A set of credit card transactions gathered in the merchant's terminal or POS awaiting settlement.

Batch ID. Every settled batch has a batch ID. Settled transactions has associated batch ID's or else they are not settled.
